Carl established Almary Green Investments Limited in 2001 after thirteen years as a senior consultant with Equitable Life. Almary Green became part of the S&P Group family in 2018 and Carl joined the Board of Directors of S&P at this point.

Carl advises a wide range of clients, specialising in particular in Self Invested Pensions. Carl holds the prestigious G60 pension qualification, and is a Chartered Financial Planner. He has also qualified as a Certified Money Coach (CMC)® with the Money Coaching Institute.

Carl’s early career was as a fighter controller in the Royal Air Force and his service included time in the South Atlantic during the Falklands War. He still retains an interest in military aircraft and radar and is a trustee of RAF Station Coltishall Heritage Trust in Norfolk.
